The Cannonball Run

Here's the full big-band version of Gordon Goodwin's The Cannonball Run! It's a high-energy Latin/pop cooker that moves along at a pretty good clip, around 240 bpm. The saxophone lead is soprano instead of alto, the lead trumpet range is written to high F, and there's solo space for all saxes, trumpet 4, and trombones 1 and 2. A hot sax section soli and some counterpoint round out this cannonball. Very hot stuff!
