This song is from a projected musical film created by director/writer Margaret Constantas. On the Wentloog Levels near Cardiff, two artisan shoemakers, husband and wife, have fallen on hard times. Their lives are soon to be transformed by the appearance of a mysterious cow. Constantas provides the text, while the musical setting is from Judith Weir, Master of the Queen's Music.
