A bizarre collection of 42 short pieces containing a catalog of 20th-century elements: jazz (#37), tone clusters (#7), quartal and quintal harmonies (#14 and #18), polychords (#24), bitonality (#29), atonality, dissonances of every kind, polyrhythms, asymmetrical meters (scattered among many of the pieces), plus older concepts (canon, diminution). Individual titles are usually nonsensical and may or may not have anything to do with the music itself. Perceptive people may notice some similarities with other works, but I'm not giving any hints. You must be truly unafraid to hear these, plus even more fearless to try playing them.
