The Gift of Giving

This moving piece is dedicated to a young band student diagnosed with terminal cancer who used the Make-A-Wish Foundation to give her marching band new uniforms. The music begins with the painful reality of critical illness and the incredible stress it places on families. Even so, rays of hope peek through the clouds and a sweet melody attempts to provide comfort. There is a long build to a section marked "heartwarming." Proceeds from this title will be donated to Make-A-Wish.
