Shore masterfully expands upon the musical palette of Middle-Earth, blending familiar motifs from the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy with an exciting array of memorable new themes. This beautifully produced folio features an array of colorful photos from the film. All wind arrangements are completely compatible with each other and can be successfully performed as ensembles or solos by students who have completed the first book of any standard band method. Each book features a carefully edited part complete with articulations, dynamic markings, and keys well suited for the level 2-3 player. A fully orchestrated MP3 CD is also provided. The CD includes a demo track of each song, which features a live instrumental performance, followed by a play-along track. PDF documents are included on the CD with specially designed piano accompaniments. Due to level considerations regarding keys and instrument ranges, the arrangements in the string instrument series are not compatible with those in the wind instrument series.
