The key may be minor, but this tune is joyful! The composer conveys this joy as well as energy through the use of the clarinet and bass. A slower middle section brings a change of pace, and the use of optional handchimes sets an even more mellow tone. The final stanza returns to the original upbeat feel for a delightful finale.
