Entrance March of the Peers, created by Gilbert and Sullivan, is a song taken from their opera Iolanthe. They poke fun at the British House of Lords , also known as Peers . Gilbert suggests that the Peers feel superior to everyone and that the common person should bow down to the Peers. This is a delightful song showing Gilbert's satire in his lyrics.
