The Promised Land

This work for chorus and chamber orchestra was premiered to acclaim by the Oakwood University Aeolians at the 2019 ACDA national conference. This work combines original material with spirituals and text by important historical figures to create a piece that follows the experience of black Americans during and after the civil rights era.
