Ten strong, theologically rich songs by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend form the basis for this Easter musical. Actual footage from the "Matthew" film, incorporated into an accompaniment DVD, coupled with Dave Williamson's cinematic scoring create an epic experience for your church. The vocal arrangements can be sung effectively by a smaller choir using a mixture of 2-part to 4-part voicings. The narration, adapted literally from Scripture, is conceived in a "reader's theater" format, as the video conveys the biblical setting. Staging requires no sets, drama, or costumes, though production notes offer suggestions. Many of the songs provide year-round use for missions, Bible reading, communion, discipleship, invitations, and congregational singing. Behold the Lamb is also included as a bonus arrangement.
