The Singing Musician: Level 1

Are you looking to teach the right skills for choral reading in the right order at the right level of difficulty at the right pace to mastery? This choral music reading series will address all of these needs. The Singing Musician offers music reading exercises, literature in sequence, theory, music history, listening activities, vocal production, concert etiquette, expression, and creativity. Level 1 is written for the beginning choral student - it's based on the Orff philosophy and uses Movable Do, solfege handsigns, open-fifth accompaniments, Orff orchestrations and Kodaly rhythmic syllables.
