Useful for both school and church, this lively, original composition depicts someone taking a lighthearted walk, scattering seeds along the way. Mallets and thumb damps set the tone for this airy and optimistic piece. While in 4/4 meter, a few easy 5/4 and 6/4 measures (allowing time for the walker to go around a rock) make this a good learning piece to introduce mixed meter. The optional woodblock/tic-toc block adds even more spunk. Fun and festive!
