The Star Arising

A celebration of light, this cantata shares the good news of Jesus' birth from prophecy to proclamation. Before each movement, a narration of scriptural selections is followed by a reading of the spiritual attribute. The music begins with an instrumental prelude followed by the choral movements, each with a different character, with both original music and familiar carols. The lighting of candles for each movement is encouraged.
