This much loved sea shanty is arranged here for Junior String Quartet (2 Violins, Viola and Cello). This arrangement would suit string players between ABRSM Grade 1 - 2. Each part has been carefully written to be fun and satisfying to play, with some of the rhythms slightly simplified for easier bowing technique. The melodic interest of the Verses is passed between players, whilst the catchy, repeated Chorus section provides a great hook for everyone to join together throughout the piece. It would be a great addition to the repertoire of any beginner string quartet.
