The Wheel

The Wheel is an expression that describes the feeling of a rhythmic groove that has a persistent momentum about it... always turning, never wavering, infectious. The piece is a simple blues form, written to be played "as is" or to allow for some jazz improvisation within that framework.

Some parts are easily playable by any student musician. Other parts require true percussion technique from easy to advanced.
