The Witching Hour

Here's a very inventive chart which borrows liberally from Romantic era music, though set in a jazz ensemble context. There are substantial parts for all players and it's a great showcase for a pianist with strong Classical chops. The improvised solos are for soprano saxophone and trumpet with the lead saxophone on soprano throughout. The piano solo sections are completely notated and the challenging piano introduction can be omitted if there's a less experienced player.
