There Is Sunshine

Eliza E. Hewitt wrote this popular gospel song in the late 1800s after suffering a serious injury. A walk through Fairmount Park in Philadelphia during her recovery inspired the positive nature of these lyrics. This upbeat Grade 4 solo arrangement reflects the words of the chorus: "There is sunshine, blessed sunshine, while the peaceful, happy moments roll! When Jesus shows His smiling face, there is sunshine in my soul."
