Therefore I Will Hope

With a text by Jan Richardson, this piece was commissioned in memory of the lives of school children lost to gun violence. Dramatic musical motives weave with lyrics that create a sense of longing and release, yet with an eventual focus of hope. Scored for high school or collegiate choirs and with piano accompaniment, this piece is deeply emotional and profoundly moving.
