A Tempo Di Salsa (Salsa Groove Tempo), is an energetic salsa/Latin jazz groove with rich harmonies and syncopated rhythms. The tempo moves a little faster than normal pieces and the lead trumpet stays within A on the staff and C above the staff, with an optional E and a G above the staff in the outro section. Solo space is provided for sax, trumpet, bass, piano and percussion. This is a great chart to challenge the band rhythmically to go up to the next level. Lots of syncopated rhythms, cut time reading and keeping up with the vibrant salsa groove. A great addition to your jazz ensemble repertoire!
