Three Concert Pieces

This edition contains three beautiful and easy performance pieces which have been selected from the large number of pieces by Wilhelm Popp in a Romantic concert style. Cantabile and virtuoso passages were always arranged specifically for the instrument by the court flutist (and pianist) of the court theatre of the Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. This edition is part of the Schott Student Edition series which offers varied literature at five different levels of difficulty. Titles include: Hymn to the Evening Star, Op. 511, No. 3; Melodie, Op. 402, No. 4 and Pompadour-Gavotte, Op. 491, No. 6.
