Three Festive Trumpet Tunes

These three pieces are playable on organ alone or with trumpet and organ. The AMSTERDAM tune uses a recurring ritornello theme that is based on the opening melody of the hymn tune. Trumpet Tune in D Major is an original composition and is written in a baroque rondo style. The WESTMINSTER ABBEY piece states the tune the first time in the organ; then in the second statement the trumpet plays a more embellished version. Reproducible trumpet parts for both Bb and C trumpets are included in the book.
