Three Gospel Choruses

A compilation of three gospel choruses by Henry Mollicone. Glory Day! from the opera "Gabriel's Daughter" and Now I Can See the Light! are both fast and joyful, while the third work, Hear Me, Redeemer, is slower and more soulful. They all have musical characteristics of gospel style in common - the quasi-jazzy feel in both the accompaniment and vocal lines, a feeling of free improvisation, and the relatively simple tonality. Requires soloists in all voice parts and an excellent accompanist at the keyboard.
