Three Intermezzi

Three Intermezzi for Vibraphone and Piano is meant to be treated as a collection of duets, rather than accompanied vibraphone solos. The piano plays an equally important role. Each intermezzo can be performed alone, or as a set of three. Though each of the three intermezzi is distinct, the set maintains a consistent character throughout. The unifying harmonic language is both complex and unpredictable, yet remains accessible and satisfying.
