Three marches by Baroque composer Jeremiah Clarke arranged for brass choir with timpani. The three marches, "King William's March", "The Emperor of Germany's March" and "Prince Eugene's March" were written for harpsichord in the same trumpet-tune style as the better known "Trumpet Voluntary" (The Prince of Denmark's March). The marches are arranged as a medley, but each short march could be performed seperately.
The arrangement is playable with a minimum of eight players. The instrumentation is for 3 trumpets, horn, 2 trombones or euphoniums, tuba and timpani, but several alternate parts are provided for flexibility. There is a horn part that can be used as a substitute (or double) for trumpet 3, a trombone or euphonium part that can substitute for the F horn part, and an F horn part that can substitute for trombone or euphonium 1. In addition, all trombone/euphonium parts include a treble clef euphonium version.
