Three Scenes of Evergreen for Oboe and Piano

These three relatively short, yet evocative pieces are offered as a musical portrayal of three different perspectives seen from the same vantage point. They were inspired by my experience one afternoon sitting quietly in the mossy rainforest found on the campus of the Evergreen State University on the outskirts of Olympia , Washington.
