Thunderstone

Believed to be forged by lightning, thunderstones were thought to have mystical and magical powers. Typically, these stones were actually arrowheads, tool fragments, and fossils found by later societies who believed they contained healing and protection properties, including treating warts! In this composition, students musically depict the creation of a thunderstone with loud E-string lightning strikes.
