Timpani Solo No. 1

This is an excellent solo for the beginning-intermediate timpanist and very suitable for any solo competition. Contrasting dynamics along with numerous accents, syncopation and combinations of articulate eighth note triplets plus sixteenth note rhythms, provide interest and appeal. Students will enjoy performing this work.
