Titans of Italian Opera

This lesson plan may be used in either band class or general music classes. In band class it may be used with Themes of 20th Century Composers for Band, (available from J.W. Pepper). This plan describes the important contributions of three Italian composers: Rossini, Verdi, and Puccini. The plan includes an instruction page, audio examples, vocabulary, an adaptable sample multiple choice assessment, an answer key, and an order of instruction page with national core standards listed.
