This gentle setting of the Irish prayer "Ag Criost an Siol" is a beautiful selection for the Preparation of the Gifts. An instrumental introduction sets the tone for the unison soprano and alto melody, which transitions into three-part SAB harmonies. A lyrical solo cello part is accompanied by a delicate piano arrangement that both continue throughout the piece.
