Although not many know it by its true name, Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D
minor is one of the most popular and recognizable pieces from the classical
repertoire. Originally written for Organ, it has become an inseparable part
of the Halloween musical tradition, synonymous with haunted houses and scary
movies. This explosive arrangement by composer Garrett Breeze is scored for
two pianos, each using two players. Although technically challenging, many of
the most difficult parts are isolated into one hand, making this piece
achievable by most intermediate pianists.
