Tones for Doane

Tones for Doane is a nice original for developing bands set in a medium-slow swing style. Played at about 138 bpm, it provides great ensemble moments from all sections of the band. A medium slow swinger, it features a dynamic groove, a cool sax soli, and a laid-back feel. It's playable with optional reduced or expanded instrumentation and includes optional parts for flute, clarinet, horn in F, tuba and vibes.
