Triptych for Holy Week

The Garden, Betrayal and Crucifixion. This trio of choral "scenes" from Christ's Passion is a unique choice for Tenebrae observances or other Holy Week services. The lyrics are highly evocative, and the music responds with episodes of exquisite beauty and subtle tonal coloring. The movements are joined together by common motivic material, but they can also stand on their own for a progressive presentation throughout Holy Week.  Sensitive and most effective music for mixed voices and piano.
