Trois Orientales

"Trois Orientales" - composed on Easter Day 2014, are three Intermediate level short works for Solo Piano, a characteristic work depicting scenes of the Orient, employing pentatonic mode - I. In the Garden - II. In the Temple - III. At the Shore. "Trois Orientales" is a perfect vehicle for a beginner to enter into intermediate level techniques including octaves, contrary motion and very quiet control. With "Trois Orientales" Kaloian continues his contribution to the Solo Piano repertoire and takes us further eastward on the oriental voyage that started with his characteristic works as in "Monuments Armenia."
