Two Minuets

This short classical setting for strings draws from Bach's keyboard miniatures originally compiled in the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach, later finding new life in a larger suite. Two graceful minuets are presented with close attention to the harmonic language and stylistic intent of the original source, allowing the melodies to speak naturally.
