Two Preludes by Giuseppe Verdi

Some of Verdi's most powerful and dramatic music appears in his overtures, preludes and ballet scenes. The preludes before individual acts of the operas foreshadow the mood and intense drama of the ensuing scenes. Paired together in this transcription are preludes from two operatic works, Ernani and Atilla, both of which are prime examples of these powerful and expressive musical elements.
