Adapted from one of Ola Gjeilo’s most performed choral works, this beautiful transcription explores the variety of colors in the wind band. Drawing inspiration from the ancient Gregorian chant tradition, the opening unison section evokes a haunting mood of medieval times. The piece gradually unfolds as modern harmonies and rich textures are introduced, creating a masterful and emotional setting. (c. 3:30)
