Ukrainian National Anthem for Full Orchestra

The music to the "Ukrainian National Anthem" was written in 1864 by Mykhalio Verbytsky with lyrics by Pavlo Chubynsky. It is also known as "Shche Ne Vmerla Ukrany" which means "Ukraine has not yet perished." This arrangement for full orchestra uses the traditional harmonies of the anthem making it ideal to accompany singers. The skillful scoring by award-winning composer/arranger L. C. Harnsberger sounds beautiful with younger performers, and is stunning with a professional ensemble.
