This pretty Samba displays rich harmonic content and a lyrical melody that gives it a nice optimistic feel. The chart features a variety of orchestration textures: trombones with bucket mutes, a flute/flugelhorn/soprano sax trio, a sax soli with a flugelhorn lead, and a piano/guitar/vibes soli.
