Update Earth

Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!  We now have cell phones (and what to do with old ones), the internet (for a wide range of information on the environment), and hybrid and alternative fueled vehicles. Are we keeping up with the times? What are we doing to make our world a better place to live? "Update: Earth" is a musical review about our ongoing quest to better the world's environment. It features 7 original pop/rock songs with simple dialogue and characters, flexible enough to perform with one class or the entire student body. Kick-off the Fall with "Update: Earth" to set an environmental theme that will last throughout the year, or perform it in the Spring in conjunction with Arbor Day. The teacher's edition, printed on recycled paper, includes the piano/vocal arrangements, script and John Jacobson's choreography and staging tips. 30 minutes.
