Sugar Plum Samba

This holiday work for young band trades in ballet shoes for guiros and timbales. This setting of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy presents a decidedly different twist, allowing students to learn to play a wonderfully appealing Latin dance style. Original rhythms of the ballet have been altered to convey an authentic-sounding samba dance style that will add a new twist to seasonal performances.
