Treat your strings to uplifting and enjoyable music! This lively AABA piece in D major offers all sections an integral role and provides both rich accompaniment and independent playing of the tune! The driving introduction features violin 2 and viola on the main theme. Soon, violin 1 takes over with a singing, legato melody over quiet accompaniment below. Later, cellos are highlighted with the legato melody that they hand off back to the upper strings. In short, everyone gets an exciting part to play in this well-written original.
