Valse Sentimentale is in ternary form, in 3/4 time and romantic in
nature
The first section is a gentle waltz in A minor and the second section by
contrast is in F major and takes on a barcarolle like quality but remaining in
3/4 not the traditional 6/8. It returns to section one again and the coda
brings back a short reminder of the barcarolle theme in A major to
finish.
I have set it to Intermediate level, but the full score score is on the
youtube link for you to assess. It would work well for a variety of
occasions.
