We Thank You, God

Writing a new melody to the Jewish Shabbat prayer Modium Anachnu Lach and combining it with the 19th-century hymn Now Thank We All Our God, here we have a fresh new expression of thanksgiving and gratitude that represents multiple traditions. Repeated rhythmic patterns and melodic shape create a meditative and reflective aesthetic, allowing all to contemplate and sincerely offer thanks.
