We're Here to Sing

Also known as The Happy Farmer, this familiar tune is probably best remembered from its use in the soundtrack for "The Wizard of Oz." Set to delightful lyrics, in partner-style, the arrangement is designed so the boys and the girls can learn their unison parts separately, then sing them together along with a simple three-part mixed middle section that is equally easy to learn. Terrific for choirs that have separate rehearsals for male and female singers, this is a simple, fun and endearing opener for any concert!
