We have here a lovely, contemplative, slightly challenging but rewarding setting of this traditional tune. Instead of a more typical 'round' treatment of the tune, we opted for rich harmonies and short, spoken spots to approach this arrangement with a view of empathy with our poor, teased, 'queer' frog- who can sit, walk and talk like a bird- but only "almost." Scored for SAT(t)B a Capella voices. Approximately 1:35 performance. A nice addition to any choral concert or a satisfying encore piece.
