White Water March

White Water March is a concert march written for adaptable concert band in four parts plus percussion. The first and second strains are characterized by chromatic scales that are at times smooth but other times repetitive and choppy akin to a white water rapid, inspiring the pieces name. The expansive trio symbolizes the surrounding terrain as the contrary motion in the dogfight emphasizes the splitting currents of the river.
