This intense and dramatic work was inspired after witnessing the fearsome power of an out-of-control wildfire. The music is as relentless as the spreading flames, rapidly moving through the musical landscape. Furious counter lines, and strong percussion, seem to represent the valiant efforts of firefighters to oppose the devastating inferno.
