Women of Our World

The intercultural songbook Women of Our World contains about 40 songs from all over the world in easy two- to three-part arrangements for equal voices. Thereby, the songbook is usable for treble choirs of all ages, as well as open singing opportunities, e.g. in refugee initiatives and intercultural institutions. The songs are grouped into four themes: Love, Joy, Hope, and Sorrow. Introductory texts for every song give information on the origin, pronunciation and cultural background of the pieces. Some of the songs from more than 25 different countries are personally introduced by a singer from the intercultural choir WoW. These flexible arrangements also allow the accompaniment by piano or guitar. Translations of the lyrics in German and English furthermore enable a content-related engagement.
