This piece is a dedication to the family and friends of Kyle Rieger, who tragically passed away at the age of 26. It was a difficult time for all who knew him. The various moments throughout this piece showcase the impact he made to the music communities he was a part of. The main theme that starts in the Contrabassoon and Contrabass Clarinet (Instruments that Kyle played in Truman State University's Wind Symphony 1) also makes callbacks to some of his previous works.
