Words Are Only Words

Crafted for double choir and two soloists, this contemporary work reflects on the experiences of immigrants to the United States. It can be performed antiphonally, immersing the audience in the impact of these simple yet profound lyrics: "Words are only words, but sometimes they mean the most." As the piece crescendos to a powerful climax, the ending simply fades away with the final appeals.
