The third in a set of three pieces based on Anne Lamott's Help, Thanks, Wow: The Three Essential Prayers, the composer expounds upon Lamott's unique take on keeping prayer simple. Translating her words into Latin and including short English phrases, this piece also uses the vowel sounds in the word "wow" to create a recurring theme and harmonic structure. A colorful piano part adds a distinctive voice, and the mixed-meter setting brings fluidity and motion to this meditative work.
